Elizabeth Seigenthaler Courtney , Chairman/CEO, serves as a consultant in the management of strategic communications programs on behalf of the firm's clients. Recognized for her entrepreneurship, in 2005 she was one of six American women named to participate in the Protégé program by the Committee of 200, an international organization of top business women.  In 2003, Beth was one of 14 women worldwide selected as a Leadership Foundation Fellow by the International Women's Forum, which encompasses study at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and Cambridge University's Judge Institute of Management Studies.  She is a member of the Society of International Business Fellows and a graduate of Leadership Nashville, Class of 2001.

This year, Beth was recognized as a Woman of Achievement by YWCA. She was also named a Women of Influence by Nashville Business Journal in 2007 and one of the top "40 Nashvillians Under 40" by Business Nashville magazine in 2000.  Beth serves on the boards of directors of Adventure Science Center, Business Committee for the Arts, Center for Nonprofit Management, Historic Nashville, Nashville Opera and Urban League. Regionally, she serves on the boards of Tennessee Education Lottery and Southern Alliance for Clean Energy. In 1997 and 2005 Beth, a former Nashville Chamber of Commerce board member, was named "Outstanding Volunteer of the Year" by that organization.  
 
Beth is a graduate of Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts with a degree in English and Communications. While in college, she undertook special studies at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.  Beth began her career in communications in 1983 at Hill, Holiday, Conners and Cosmopulous Advertising and Public Relations, Boston, Massachusetts.  In 1985, she joined Projection Public Relations, London, England, as an Account Executive serving clients throughout the United Kingdom.  She joined Seigenthaler Public Relations, Inc. in 1987 and was elected President in 1997 and Chief Executive Officer in 2004.  Beth is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
